JOB FUNCTION:    Increase sales and market share of Bell professional products in the pest control industry.

TERRITORY: North West Region of the U.S. including: Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, UT, NV  

RESPONSIBLITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:

  1. Cultivate a strong and loyal distributor network and customer base to achieve broad distribution of Bell professional product lines.
  2. Make regular customer visits throughout the entire territory.  Arrange 4-6 customer visits per day including distributors, PMPs and municipalities.
  3. Introduce new products to pest control distributors and operators.
  4. Provide education on new products and usage to distributor sales representatives and pest control operators.
  5. Provide field visits to problem accounts with the purpose of providing solutions and facilitating product sales. 
  6. Attend association meetings, conferences and distributor events with the goal of cultivating new customer relationships and product sales.
  7. Attend appropriate industry and distributor trade shows.
  8. Develop and implement an annual business plan.
  9. Communicate with supervisor on a regular basis.
  10. Travel throughout the territory in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

The IDEAL candidate will:

*Be extremely comfortable speaking in front of small and large audiences

*Have adept knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote for presentations

*Be self-driven, motivated, passionate and work with pride and integrity above all else

*Not be afraid to "get their hands dirty" (inspections)

*Have a high level of self-discipline to keep up on administrative requirements: tracking mileage, expense     reporting, notating schedules in Salesforce/IFS

*Be able to work autonomously without "micro-manager" oversight 

*Has mastered the soft skills: teamwork, empathy and effective communication

*Lives within the territory.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business/marketing.

EXPERIENCE

Sales experience is preferred, but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent communication skills and follow through.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Two to three days of travel per week.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED

Standard office equipment such as a computer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Hand-eye coordination for typing.
